Self Growth
The reason I started journaling was a strong desire for self growth—a need to break the ice within myself. When that need, greater than anything I had ever felt, first appeared, all I had in my house was a pen and a notebook. That was enough.
I went from working as an employee to becoming self-employed. I initially launched my business from my son’s bedroom, and later rented an office space close to my home so I could stay near my wife and kids.
That pen proved more powerful than a hammer against an ice block. The notebook carried my thoughts better than any runway at MIA could carry planes—it gave them space to land, organize, and take off again with clarity. It became my daily tool for self growth.
I am here with you today because, in some way, we likely need each other. You may be searching for answers and self growth, and I am deeply driven to help someone find them. I know I never want to let anybody down, and because of that, I know how hard I will fight to support people like you on your journey of self growth.
In my not-yet-published book, I wrote that growth happens in two directions: one toward technical skills, and the other toward self growth. No matter which direction you take, both lead to a stronger sense of self-esteem. And the more you believe in yourself, the more everything you do will contribute to growth—both personally and professionally.
Self Growth – You & I are connected
We feel like many people in my industry are chasing money. We feel the pressure from society pushing us to earn more, to take our family on vacations, to afford private schools, and to project confidence in every aspect of life.
Right now, I’m sitting in front of my computer, and it feels like I’m in the eye of a hurricane. All the work activities, people, calls, and responsibilities are spinning around me like a Category 4 storm, gaining strength. And yet, right here in the center, there is no wind. There is silence. There is peace. Writing to you is helping me find calm. It’s bringing me back to love. I feel it deeply—so deeply that I’m almost in tears. Outside, the pressure is intense. Everyone is looking for something. You are searching for self growth, and here I am, in the middle of this chaos, feeling that I can help.
First, I bring you into my thoughts. I wish you could hear the music I’m listening to—it’s Italian, soft, grounding. My body is relaxed. I’m not fully present in the physical world around me, yet I am aware. I lower the music. I hear others working nearby. I stay respectful, balanced between two spaces—here and there—with you. Our minds and spirits are working together toward the evolution of self growth. Self growth begins deep within us. Everything we gain in life becomes a layer. For example, through becoming a new version of ourself, we were able to achieve things we once desired—money, cars, vacations. But those things are nothing compared to who we have become inside. They are just external layers, not the essence.
Self growth is about what lives within us: belief, love, gratitude, and the impact we create for ourselves and others. It is about healing the body and the mind. And from that place, everything else follows—our work, our relationships, and the life we build. Self growth is not the destination. It is the beginning of a brighter future.
